Virbac appoints Frédéric Jodogne as Corporate Industrial Operations director
Virbac announces the appointment of Frédéric Jodogne as Corporate Industrial Operations director. Based in Carros, he is effective in his role since April 3, 2017. He is in charge of implementing, organizing and leading supply chain and industrial strategies of the Group.
Frédéric has the responsibility of the functional supervision of almost all the industrial sites of Virbac through the world. He is in charge of optimizing the infrastructure, human resources, tools, metrics and methods of each site in order to drive the manufacturing and supply of quality products under lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. He will work in collaboration with the local industrial directors. Moreover, Frédéric Jodogne is in charge of the corporate industrial development and of the corporate bioprocess.
He reports directly to Marc Bistuer, head of Global Industrial Operations and Corporate Quality Assurance, who says:

His skills will contribute to well-implement our industrial strategy. His experience in a very international environment will help him to manage efficiently our sites through the world.”
With almost 20 years in health sector, Frédéric Jodogne has built his experience mainly in GlaxoSmithKline. He has occupied several key positions linked to the industrial activities of the Group. From 1998 to 2003, he managed the production of different lines of vaccine at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals. Between 2003 and 2005, he was in charge of the quality assurance of international investment projects still at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals. From 2005 to 2015, he worked on several international GSKbio sites: in the US as technical services senior manager in the context of the acquisition of Corixa by GSK (2005-2008); in Hungary as manufacturing operations senior manager (2008-2011); then in Singapore, as site director (2011-2015). Back in Belgium in 2015, he was since then director of manufacturing of Hep B, Hep A and Malaria Bulk vaccine at GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals.
Frédéric Jodogne has a master in chemistry and bio-industry, obtained in Gembloux, Belgium.
