Habib Ramdani appointed chief financial officer at Virbac and member of the executive board
Virbac announces the appointment of Habib Ramdani as chief financial officer. Appointed to the executive board on June 23, 2016, Habib has overseen all financial activities of the Group since taking office on May 2, 2016, reporting directly to Éric Marée, chairman of the Virbac group executive board.
Habib Ramdani succeeds Michel Garaudet, chief financial officer of the Virbac group since 1993 and a member of the executive board since December 2002, who decided to retire.
As head of the Group's financial policy, Habib Ramdani oversees in this capacity the Treasury, Financing, and Financial Control. In addition, he is responsible for developing our consolidated financial and accounting information, for budget planning processes, and for management control. Lastly, he is in charge of the Group's Legal department.
"We are very pleased to welcome Habib. His finance and strategy expertise and his pharmaceutical sector experience, particularly on an international level, will play a very valuable role in leading Virbac to a new stage of its development," stated Éric Marée.
Habib Ramdani, 40, is a graduate of the École Centrale de Paris. He began his career in 1999 as a strategy consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. He then joined the IPSEN pharmaceutical company, where he soon became the director of Group Strategic Planning. He was then appointed Group controller, where he oversaw, among other things, the Group Management Control department as well as Accounting and Consolidation of Accounts, before heading the Finance and Strategy department for North American affiliates.
