Each year, Gaïa Index, the French benchmark index for small and mid-cap companies, distinguishes the 70 best-performing French companies based on approximately 170 criteria related to governance, social and environmental policies, and customer/supplier relations. These companies are selected from among 230 companies listed on the Paris stock exchange according to 14 economic performance criteria.
 
In 2021, we obtained a score of 77 out of 100, 3 points higher than in the 2020 ranking, with progress in all dimensions: environmental (+3 points), governance (+6 points) and social (+2 points). These good results are linked to the acceleration of our CSR approach with important objectives in terms of environment and employee engagement. In three years, for example, we have reduced our greenhouse gas emissions (scope 1 and 2) by 11% and increased our Trust Index Great Place to Work by 9 points since 2018 at Group level. On the governance side, our progress is linked to recent changes in structure, with the creation of a general management and a board of directors (assisted by a Group executive committee), the most appropriate and common legal form for French listed companies.
