Optimizing the delivery of our healthcare solutions to caregivers is one of our top priorities. To achieve this, our organization is now structured around three major regions. This agile model places our customers and industry evolutions at the heart of our decisions.
Our Group governance, which previously featured a single Head of Commercial Operations overseeing our six business zones, now integrates three major regions: Europe, North America, and International. Each region is represented by an Executive Vice President on the Group Executive Committee (GEC). Additionally, our internal management reporting has been aligned with this new commercial structure.
This reconfiguration serves a threefold objective:
- ensuring a stronger connection between global functions and the regions we serve;
- guaranteeing that regional leaders understand and support global models;
- fostering the sharing of best practices and the simplification of local processes.
Three complementary profiles
To drive this ambition forward, Paul Martingell has appointed:
- Sophie Favini, Executive Vice President, International Region (India, Middle East & Africa; Far East Asia; Pacific and Latin America). After holding several key positions at headquarters, including Group Communications Director, Sophie managed multiple European subsidiaries, served as Vice President of Commercial Operations in North America, and subsequently oversaw all global business operations. Her multicultural expertise and strategic acumen will enable her to support the Group’s development in this new, high-potential geographic area.
- Enguerrand Dubois, Executive Vice President, Europe Region. Throughout his extensive international career at Virbac, Enguerrand has held key regional leadership and business roles. At the helm of the Europe Region, this commercial transformation specialist will leverage his global vision to modernize our historical markets, notably by accelerating our omnichannel strategy.
- Giovanni Abruzzini, Executive Vice President, North America Region. With 25 years of experience at Johnson & Johnson, where he held various executive positions, Giovanni joined Virbac in 2021 to drive growth in North America. He has infused a new dynamic into the region, structuring highly engaged teams that have generated double-digit growth and increased profitability. His operational expertise is a key asset to consolidate Virbac's expansion and performance in the North American market.
These changes will nurture our Virbac culture, strengthen our operations, and secure our future performance.
