Quality of Life at Work: Virbac launches its first global Pulse survey

Handicap Vignette 300x200.jpgAt the end of October, we offered our entire workforce a new opportunity to speak up and help improve their work environment. This new format takes place between our two triennial comprehensive "Great Place to Work" surveys.

For over 25 years, we have regularly consulted our teams to understand their expectations regarding the work environment and to implement potential improvements together. In 2018, we initiated a partnership with the Great Place to Work Institute to further anchor quality of life at work into our corporate culture.

Feedback from employees through these triennial surveys guides our global initiatives while allowing subsidiary managers to steer local activity as closely as possible to specific needs.

A strategic management tool

At the end of 2025, we conducted an interim survey for the first time, ensuring we no longer have to wait three years to take the pulse of the organization. This new, more agile and targeted format focused on 25 essential questions regarding trust, management, and camaraderie.

Offered to all our employees, this survey revealed solid indicators which, although slightly down, reflect the commitment of our global teams:

  • record mobilization: with 90% participation, our employees overwhelmingly seized this opportunity to express themselves;
  • a robust confidence index: the global Trust Index remains at a high level of 69% (compared to 71% in 2024);
  • a great place to work: 74% of employees maintain a positive overall perception of their work environment (compared to 77% in 2024).

The Pulse survey does not replace the full Trust Index diagnostic. By targeting three key themes—trust, management, and camaraderie—it provides our leaders and subsidiary managers with real-time decision-making support to adjust our priorities ahead of our next major triennial milestone in 2027.
